Dual-channel simultaneous pH, EC, TDS & salinity — lab-grade accuracy with a complete benchtop workstation.
The Apera PC950 (AI5624) is a Value Series dual-channel benchtop meter that simultaneously measures pH/ORP and conductivity/TDS/salinity from a single instrument. It ships as a complete kit: Swiss LabSen 211 pH electrode, MP500 temperature probe, 2401T-F conductivity electrode, and the Apera TestBench integrated workstation.
The Apera PC950 is a Value Series dual-channel benchtop multiparameter meter designed for reliable, lab-grade measurement of pH, conductivity (EC), TDS, and salinity in a single instrument. SKU AI5624 is the complete kit configuration, which includes the meter unit, the Swiss LabSen 211 refillable glass combination pH electrode, the MP500 standalone temperature probe, the 2401T-F glass-body platinum black conductivity/temperature electrode, and the Apera TestBench workstation — everything needed to run calibrated measurements right out of the box.
The TestBench is an integrated benchtop workstation that consolidates a flexible electrode holder, an intelligent magnetic stirrer with stepless speed control, and buffer/solution organizers into one footprint. It eliminates the scattered-bottle setup typical of basic lab benches and keeps calibration standards, electrodes, and stir function within reach during every measurement cycle.
Licensed cannabis and hemp cultivators running commercial fertigation programs need benchtop-grade accuracy when dialing in nutrient solution EC and pH — pocket testers are fine for daily spot checks, but a benchtop meter is the ground truth instrument used to verify calibration, validate water quality before batch mixing, and log data for compliance or quality records.
The PC950 fits cultivation teams who want a single instrument that covers both pH and EC without managing two separate benchtop units and two sets of calibration solutions. The dual-channel simultaneous display means one dip, one reading, one log entry — relevant for facilities running multiple fertigation lines or running QC checks across reservoirs, RO output, and runoff in the same session.
The GLP-compliant data logger with 200-set storage and USB export makes it a practical fit for any operation that needs to attach water quality records to batch documentation — something that matters for licensed operators in audit-intensive states.
The included Swiss LabSen 211 is a refillable glass combination pH electrode — a low-impedance glass membrane paired with a long-life reference junction, built to deliver stable, repeatable pH readings and extended service life versus sealed, non-refillable alternatives. It connects via standard BNC, making it forward-compatible with the full LabSen electrode lineup if specialized sampling (waste stream, soil slurry, high-salinity) is needed later.
The 2401T-F is a glass-body platinum black conductivity electrode with a range of 0 to 200 mS/cm at ±1% F.S. accuracy. Conductivity calibration supports 1 to 4 auto-calibration points using recognized standards (84 µS/cm, 1413 µS/cm, 12.88 mS/cm, 111.8 mS/cm) or user-defined values. One-tap switching cycles the display among conductivity, TDS, and salinity without re-measuring.
The meter's interface uses plain-language menus and graphic screen prompts in English, Spanish, German, and Chinese. A stability indicator locks readings automatically. Built-in self-diagnosis monitors electrode slope between calibrations and flags degraded electrode condition before it corrupts a measurement batch.
In a commercial cultivation environment the PC950 typically lives at a dedicated water quality station near the mixing or fertigation room. Operators use it to validate RO output TDS, confirm nutrient solution EC and pH against target ranges before irrigation events, and log readings to satisfy internal QC or state compliance protocols. The USB data export means logged readings can move directly into a spreadsheet or batch record without manual transcription.
The TestBench workstation matters in high-throughput situations where staff are running calibrations and measurements back to back. Keeping buffer solutions, electrodes, and the stirrer in a single organized footprint reduces handling errors and calibration time — relevant when a head grower or quality tech is running checks across multiple rooms or irrigation zones in a single shift.
For facilities that need broader conductivity range (up to 2000 mS/cm) or high-purity water measurement, the PC950's BNC conductivity input is compatible with Apera's 2310T-F and DJS-0.1-F electrodes respectively, which can be added without replacing the meter.

The PC910 is the standard benchtop pH/conductivity kit without the TestBench workstation. The PC950 (AI5624) adds the Apera TestBench — integrated electrode holder, intelligent magnetic stirrer, and buffer organizers — plus the upgraded Swiss LabSen 211 refillable electrode. If your team runs frequent calibrations or high-volume measurement sessions, the TestBench meaningfully reduces handling time and setup errors.
Yes. The 2401T-F conductivity electrode covers 0 to 200 mS/cm, which is well above the EC ranges used in cannabis fertigation (typically 1.5–4.5 mS/cm). The simultaneous dual-channel display lets you read EC and pH in a single measurement, and the GLP data logger lets you record and export readings for batch documentation.
The included 2401T-F covers up to 200 mS/cm. For applications requiring higher range (up to 2000 mS/cm), Apera's 2310T-F electrode is compatible with the PC950's BNC conductivity input. For ultra-high-purity or very low-conductivity water, Apera's DJS-0.1-F electrode is also compatible.
The PC950 stores up to 200 data sets in GLP format — each record includes the measured value, calibration data, and a time stamp. Records can be exported via USB directly to a PC for inclusion in batch records, quality logs, or compliance documentation. Manual or auto-timed logging modes are both available.
The meter automatically identifies pH 1.68, 4.00, 7.00, 10.01, and 12.45 standard buffer solutions across USA, NIST, and China series. User-defined custom buffer values are also supported for labs running non-standard reference solutions.
