Video is compressed via H.264/HEVC, keeping bandwidth demand manageable while maintaining image quality across live streaming sessions.

Connectivity covers both wired and wireless deployments: one Ethernet port for a hardwired run back to your network switch, plus two 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi antennas for facilities where pulling cable to every room isn't practical. A built-in MicroSD card slot supports up to 64 GB of local recording, giving you on-device footage even when the internet connection drops.

The six invisible IR illuminators operate at wavelengths that do not disrupt photoperiod-sensitive plant morphology — meaning the camera can actively monitor canopy during the dark cycle without triggering a stress response or interrupting flower initiation. Night vision range reaches 10 meters (approximately 35 ft), sufficient to cover a standard cultivation bay from a corner or ceiling mount.

Motion detection and light pollution detection are both built in, with push notifications delivered through the TM+ / TM+ Pro mobile app. Light pollution detection is particularly valuable in cannabis facilities: any stray light entering the flower room during lights-off gets flagged immediately, letting your team respond before the photoperiod interruption affects the crop. The TC-1 is not a standalone device — it requires a TrolMaster HCS or TCS controller to operate. Once linked, the camera appears inside the TM+ / TM+ Pro app alongside your environmental data, so staff monitoring temperature, humidity, CO₂, and lighting schedules from the app can also pull up the live video feed in the same interface. That consolidation matters in facilities where reducing the number of open platforms and logins is a real operational goal.

For operators already running TrolMaster controllers across multiple rooms or buildings, the TC-1 scales with the existing network.
