What the TS-1 Does

The TrolMaster TS-1 is a thermostat station built specifically for cool-only conventional HVAC units. It physically replaces the existing wall thermostat, connecting to the same standard low-voltage thermostat cable using the color-coded RWYG wiring found on virtually every conventional AC installation. Once wired in and addressed, the Hydro-X master controller takes over — pushing temperature setpoints to the TS-1 and commanding cooling on or off based on live environmental sensor data.

The LCD screen on the unit displays the active temperature setpoint in the upper field and the current measured temperature in the lower field, so field technicians and facility managers can verify operation at a glance without pulling up the controller app. When the room temperature climbs above the active setpoint, the TS-1 engages cooling mode and displays 'Cool On' on screen. No separate power supply is required — the unit draws operating power through the RJ12 connection to the Hydro-X.

Who This Station Is Built For

The TS-1 is the right choice when your facility runs conventional cool-only HVAC — packaged rooftop units, ductless cooling-only splits, or dedicated precision cooling equipment that uses a standard two-wire or four-wire low-voltage thermostat interface (R, Y, W, G). If your system also handles heating, heat pump, or multi-stage operation, the TS-2 is the appropriate station; the TS-1 is purpose-built for cooling-only circuits.
