TechnaFlora B.C. Boost is the second component of the three-part B.C. Hydroponic Nutrients system, used alongside B.C. Grow during vegetative stages and B.C. Bloom during flowering. Its NPK ratio is 3-0-2, with its primary function being the delivery of supplemental calcium (Ca) and chelated iron (Fe) — elements that complete the full nutritional profile when the system is run as designed.
Unlike multi-part nutrient programs where micronutrients are concentrated in only one part of the formula, the B.C. system distributes micronutrient coverage across B.C. Grow and B.C. Bloom, with B.C. Boost supplying the calcium and iron load that those two parts leave open. It's confirmed compatible with hydroponic, soil, and soilless media including coco. For soil or coco-based grows, TechnaFlora recommends reducing feeding frequency to avoid salt accumulation — a common approach is full-strength nutrients every third watering, with plain water in between. Always monitor runoff PPM and pH to confirm no salt buildup.
B.C. Boost's role in the system is specifically calcium, iron, nitrogen, and potassium delivery. Phosphorus is supplied by the companion products — B.C. Grow (3.0% P₂O₅) during veg and B.C.
