Six independent dry contact channels — automate your 24VAC climate equipment through Growlink OS.
The Growlink relayLINK (GL-LINK-RELAY) is a 6-channel dry contact relay module purpose-built for commercial cultivation environments. It puts independent on/off control of HVAC units, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, and other low-voltage equipment under centralized, sensor-driven automation through the Growlink LINKS ecosystem.
The relayLINK adds six individually addressable, normally-open dry contact outputs to a Growlink LINKS HUB. Each channel functions as a low-voltage switch — it passes an external control signal through its terminals without supplying voltage on its own, keeping control wiring clean and predictable across mixed-voltage equipment. The module is powered and communicates with the HUB through a single RJ-45 cable, reducing wiring overhead in busy mechanical rooms.
Dry contact switching is the standard interface for 24VAC HVAC systems, air handlers, fan coil units, irrigation solenoids, and any appliance with an external low-voltage control terminal. The relayLINK was designed specifically around these use cases, making it a direct fit for the equipment most commercial cultivators already run — no line-voltage switching, no custom wiring adapters, no workarounds.
Any commercial cannabis or hemp facility running Growlink OS that needs automated, sensor-responsive control of climate equipment with external dry contact terminals. That includes single-room builds trying to automate their first HVAC stage, as well as multi-zone facilities that need to coordinate dehumidifiers, humidifiers, and supplemental air systems independently — each on its own schedule or trigger.
The relayLINK is particularly useful where a facility already owns climate equipment with 24VAC or low-voltage control inputs and wants to pull those devices into a centralized automation platform without replacing the equipment itself. It fits inside an existing Growlink LINKS deployment alongside canopyLINKs, climaLINKs, and lightLINKs, extending control to devices the other modules don't cover directly.
Six channels, each independently controllable. Schedule them individually, tie them to sensor thresholds in Growlink OS, or combine them for staged control of multi-stage HVAC systems. Front-panel LED status indicators show the live state of every relay at a glance — no need to pull up software to confirm whether a relay is open or closed during a walkaround or a troubleshooting call.
A dedicated setup button allows the module to be readdressed on the HUB without additional tools. A second LED on the HUB port indicates power status and HUB communication health separately from relay status, which simplifies diagnosing connectivity vs. logic issues in the field. Wall mounting hardware is included; an optional DIN rail mounting kit is available for electrical panel or enclosure installs. Made in the USA.
The relayLINK connects to the Growlink LINKS HUB as part of the broader LINKS ecosystem, which consolidates climate, lighting, irrigation, substrate, and nutrient control into a single platform managed through Growlink OS. Once wired, all six relay channels appear in Growlink OS and can be automated alongside every other sensor and device in the system — no separate controller, no separate software login.
For HVAC control specifically, Growlink's documentation notes the relayLINK is typically used alongside a canopyLINK or climaLINK for sensor feedback and a lightLINK for lighting coordination, so climate responses are triggered by actual canopy or room conditions rather than fixed timers alone. For humidifier and dehumidifier control, any unit with a low-voltage external control option can be wired directly to the relayLINK terminals. The module requires a Growlink HUB to operate and is not a standalone controller.

No. The relayLINK must be connected to a Growlink LINKS HUB to function. The HUB provides both power and data communication via the RJ-45 port. All channel scheduling, sensor triggers, and remote monitoring are managed through Growlink OS on the HUB.
Yes, provided the HVAC unit has an external 24VAC control input — which most commercial air handlers, fan coil units, and split systems do. The relayLINK switches the 24VAC control signal at the unit's thermostat or control terminal. For full sensor-responsive HVAC automation, Growlink recommends pairing the relayLINK with a canopyLINK or climaLINK sensor module.
Growlink's LINKS system is designed to support multiple modules on a single HUB, allowing you to scale relay channels as your facility grows. Confirm the exact per-HUB device limit with your Growlink documentation or contact us for configuration guidance specific to your build.
No. The relayLINK's dry contacts are rated for low-voltage control signals (24VAC/DC, 1A per channel). They are not rated for line-voltage switching. For line-voltage loads, an appropriately rated external contactor or relay should be controlled via the relayLINK's dry contact output.
Wall mounting hardware is included in the box. An optional DIN rail mounting kit is available separately, making the relayLINK suitable for installation inside electrical enclosures or on panel rails in mechanical rooms.
