The quadLINK is a four-outlet smart switching module purpose-built for the Growlink LINKS ecosystem. It delivers four independent NEMA 5-15R receptacles, each rated at 120VAC/6A with a 9A combined maximum draw, managed individually through Growlink OS. The unit connects to the facility's LINKS HUB over a standard RJ-45 cable — consuming a single HUB port while multiplying your controllable device count by four — or it can operate as a standalone device over a secured 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network when wired infrastructure isn't available.

Each outlet supports three distinct control modes without any additional configuration: manual on/off, time-based scheduling, and sensor-triggered automation driven by live data from other devices in your Growlink network. Once added to a room, its four outlets appear as individually addressable devices in the interface alongside every other sensor and controller in that space.

For new builds or retrofits adding the quadLINK to an existing Growlink deployment, Growlink's installation guidance recommends mounting the unit outside the canopy environment when possible — or inside a sealed enclosure if humidity exposure is unavoidable — with connections oriented downward to reduce moisture ingress risk. The quadLINK is rated for indoor installation. HUB hardware is sold separately. If your operation is not yet on a Growlink HUB, the quadLINK can also register as a standalone Wi-Fi device on a secured 2.4 GHz network, making it a viable entry point into the ecosystem before a full HUB deployment.

Does the quadLINK require a Growlink LINKS HUB to operate?

No — but a HUB is the recommended configuration for multi-device commercial installs. The quadLINK can also connect as a standalone device over a secured 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. When connected via HUB, it uses a single HUB port and integrates with all other LINKS devices in that room through Growlink OS. The HUB is sold separately.

Can each of the four outlets run on a different automation schedule or trigger?

Yes. Each of the four NEMA 5-15R receptacles is independently switched and independently programmable. One outlet can run on a fixed timer, another can respond to a sensor threshold (e.g., CO₂ ppm or temperature), and the remaining two can be set to manual control — all simultaneously, from the same device.

What devices can the quadLINK control, and are there load limits I need to know?

The quadLINK is designed for 120VAC ancillary equipment: irrigation pumps, CO₂ solenoids or controllers, inline fans, circulation fans, supplemental lighting, dehumidifiers, and similar loads. Each outlet handles up to 6A individually, with a combined maximum of 9A across all four outlets. It is not designed for high-draw 240VAC equipment.

How does sensor-based automation work with the quadLINK?

When the quadLINK is connected to a LINKS HUB alongside Growlink sensors (such as canopyLINK for temperature, humidity, and CO₂, or terraLINK for substrate VWC and EC), you can configure outlet triggers based on live sensor readings within Growlink OS. For example, a CO₂ solenoid on outlet 2 can be set to open when CO₂ drops below a defined setpoint and close when it recovers — without manual intervention.

Can I monitor and control the quadLINK remotely?

Yes. Once registered in Growlink OS, the quadLINK's outlet states, run logs, alerts, and automation rules are accessible through the Growlink mobile app from any location. Firmware updates are also pushed remotely through the platform.
