What the PH60-WW Is — and Why It Exists

Standard pH electrodes rely on a ceramic junction and liquid KCl electrolyte. In clean water, that works fine. In the real substrates of a licensed cannabis or hemp facility — coco runoff, organic nutrient emulsions, fermented teas, suspension-based amendments, or compost extracts — particulates and proteins migrate into the junction, clog it, and cause drift, sluggish response, or flat-out incorrect readings. You calibrate accurately and still get bad data.

Apera's PH60-WW was designed specifically for this problem. The LabSen 335 electrode uses an open junction paired with a polymer electrolyte rather than a liquid-filled ceramic junction. That combination physically prevents the clogging mechanism from occurring in dirty or complex liquids. The result is stable, repeatable measurement in the same media types that render most pocket testers unreliable — without requiring the operator to pre-filter or dilute the sample.

Swiss LabSen 335 Electrode — The Core Differentiator

The LabSen 335 is manufactured using proprietary sensor technologies and materials sourced from Switzerland. Its open-junction design combined with a polymer electrolyte eliminates the common junction-clogging failure mode in dirty liquid testing.
