Four spectrum presets. One fixture. No fans to service.
The Matrix M6 645W Dyna 2-Channel delivers 3.0 µmol/J PPE across four stage-specific spectrum presets — Seedling, Vegetative, Early Flower, and Late Flower — controlled by a single universal 0–10V signal. One luminaire covers the full cultivation cycle, with passive cooling, IP66 ingress protection, and a 5-year warranty built for continuous commercial operation.
The Matrix M6 Dyna 2-Channel is a 645W LED bar-style grow fixture built around two independently controlled spectrum channels — a main channel (white + red diodes) and a supplemental channel — that shift the output spectrum across four preset positions: Seedling, Vegetative, Early Flower, and Late Flower. The shift is driven by a universal 0–10V analog signal, the same protocol used by virtually every commercial lighting controller on the market. There is no proprietary protocol required and no separate dimming module to source.
The diode stack is built on Samsung 301H EVO white diodes paired with high-efficiency red diodes, delivering a balanced broad-spectrum output. Power draw is stable across spectrum shifts — the Dyna architecture maintains constant wattage on the main channel as the spectrum is adjusted, which means your electrical load calculations stay predictable regardless of where the 0–10V signal is set. The fixture is rated at 3.0 µmol/J PPE at full power.
Licensed cannabis and hemp operators running multi-stage rooms — or facilities where room repurposing is frequent — get the most out of this fixture. Instead of maintaining separate vegetative and flower fixtures, a single M6 Dyna 2-Channel covers the full cycle. That reduces SKU complexity in your purchasing, simplifies spare-parts inventory, and eliminates the labor of fixture swaps when rooms are reassigned.
It's also the right call for operators scaling into multi-tier or vertical cultivation. The bar-style form factor is Unistrut-compatible, and the built-in driver keeps the profile at 2.5 inches tall — a meaningful number in vertical rack builds where ceiling-to-canopy clearance is already compressed. Up to 160 units can be daisy-chained and managed simultaneously through the Matrix MC2 or MC5 controllers (via Dyna Control Adapter, sold separately), making room-wide automation straightforward at any canopy scale.
Passive thermal management means there are no fans, no fan bearings, and no scheduled fan service. The heat sink design handles dissipation without moving parts, which removes a common failure mode in high-humidity cultivation environments. The fixture carries an IP66 ingress-protection rating — fully sealed against dust and direct water spray — making it appropriate for high-pressure wash-down protocols and humid flower rooms alike.
Dimming range runs from 25% to 100% via the 0–10V input, giving your control system full granularity over intensity independent of spectrum position. The fixture accepts 120V through 277V, so it installs without modification in facilities running standard residential panels, commercial 208V three-phase, 240V, or 277V single-leg circuits. The built-in driver eliminates the external driver box and the associated cable run, simplifying installation and reducing overhead clutter. Power cord is sold separately — confirm your panel configuration when ordering.
The M6 Dyna 2-Channel is sized at 43.8 inches by 48.0 inches, covering a wide canopy footprint at 34.2 pounds — manageable for a two-person hang without mechanical assist in most overhead configurations. The low-profile 2.5-inch depth is specifically relevant in tiered vertical systems where each layer's fixture contributes directly to the available canopy height below it.
For facilities already running Matrix M-Series fixtures, the Dyna 2-Channel integrates into existing daisy-chain infrastructure. For facilities evaluating Matrix for the first time, the 2-channel variant offers spectrum tunability at a lower system cost than the four-channel Dyna configuration — a reasonable entry point if UV and far-red independent control are not a current priority. The 5-year warranty covers the fixture under continuous commercial run schedules. Contact Hydro Supply Co. to discuss unit quantities, lead times, and configuration for your facility.

The 2-channel Dyna controls a main spectrum channel (white + red) and one supplemental channel via the 0–10V signal, cycling through four preset spectrum positions. The 4-channel variant adds independent control of UV and far-red channels, allowing growers to dial in specific far-red timing for stretch management and UV for secondary metabolite production. If your protocol doesn't currently call for independent UV or far-red adjustability, the 2-channel at 645W covers the full vegetative-to-flower cycle without the added system cost.
No. The Dyna architecture uses power-stable spectrum tuning — the main channel holds constant wattage as the spectrum shifts between presets. Your electrical load stays at 645W regardless of which spectrum position is active. Intensity dimming (25%–100% via 0–10V) does reduce wattage proportionally, but spectrum position changes do not.
The fixture is compatible with any controller that outputs a standard 0–10V signal, which covers most commercial lighting controllers on the market. For full integration with Matrix's own ecosystem — including the MC2 and MC5 controllers with app control, programmable timers, and global control of up to 160 fixtures simultaneously — a Dyna Control Adapter is required. Controllers and adapters are sold separately. Ask Hydro Supply Co. about bundling controllers with fixture orders.
Yes. The fixture is 2.5 inches tall, Unistrut-mountable, and uses passive cooling with no fan clearance requirement. The built-in driver eliminates external driver boxes that would otherwise consume tier space or require additional cable management. These characteristics make it a practical choice for multi-layer vertical builds where height per tier is limited.
The M6 645W Dyna 2-Channel accepts 120V, 208V, 240V, and 277V input, 50/60Hz. It installs without modification on any of those circuits. Verify your panel configuration before ordering a power cord, as the cord is sold separately and must match your facility's receptacle and amperage.
