What It Is

The Matrix DE Reflector is the factory-specified replacement hood for the Matrix DE 1000W double-ended HPS fixture. The reflector is the structural and optical core of any HPS fixture: it captures the omnidirectional photon output of the DE arc tube — which would otherwise radiate toward the ceiling and walls — and redirects it downward toward the canopy. Without a properly performing reflector, a significant portion of the lamp's output is wasted before it ever reaches a leaf.
