The right-angle M19 connector is specific to Matrix's M-series LED bar fixtures, including the M Dyna 2-Channel and M Dyna 4-Channel lines. It is a distinct connector orientation from the straight M19 cord used on the Matrix Hybrid 1000W and DE HID fixtures. Ordering the correct orientation matters: a straight cord will not seat the same way as a right-angle cord at the fixture inlet, and mixing them up at scale creates installation problems. Where 277V Fits in a Commercial Cultivation Facility

277V single-phase power is a standard voltage in North American commercial and industrial electrical distribution. It is derived from 480V three-phase systems — the phase-to-neutral voltage on a 480V wye system is 277V. Large-scale licensed cannabis and hemp cultivation facilities routinely run 277V circuits for lighting loads because higher voltage means lower current draw at the same wattage, which translates to smaller wire gauge, lower resistive losses over long runs, and reduced panel ampacity requirements.

If your facility's lighting panels are wired for 277V — which is common in purpose-built cultivation buildings and converted industrial or greenhouse structures — this is the correct cord voltage. If your circuits are 120V or 240V, Matrix offers those variants separately. Running a 277V-rated cord on a 120V or 240V circuit, or vice versa, is an electrical hazard and will void any equipment warranty. Confirm your service voltage at the panel before selecting a cord.

Matrix uses the M19 connector family across multiple fixture lines, but in two distinct orientations: straight and right-angle. The right-angle M19 — used on this cord — is specified for Matrix M-series LED bar fixtures, including the M Dyna 2-Channel (M6 645W and M8 860W) and comparable M-series configurations. The straight M19 is specified for the Matrix Hybrid 1000W and Matrix DE 1000W HID fixtures.

The right-angle orientation is practical in overhead bar-fixture installations where the cord exits perpendicular to the fixture body, keeping the cable profile lower and reducing stress on the connector at the fixture inlet. In dense canopy configurations with tight row spacing or on vertical rack tiers where overhead clearance is limited, the right-angle exit also simplifies cable management.
