What It Does

The LMA-12 is a dedicated interface adapter within TrolMaster's LMA (Lighting Control Adapter) series. Its job is simple but essential: it takes the digital control signal output by the Hydro-X controller and converts it to the 0–11.5V analog signal that Dimlux ballasts recognize for dimming and power management.

Without this adapter, the Hydro-X cannot communicate with Dimlux fixtures — the two systems use different low-voltage protocols. The LMA-12 closes that gap cleanly, with no additional wiring beyond the included RJ12 cable and the ballast's own interlink port. An onboard LED power indicator gives you instant visual confirmation that the adapter is powered and communicating.

Any licensed cannabis or hemp facility running Dimlux HID ballasts as part of a TrolMaster Hydro-X controlled environment. Whether you're operating a single flower room or a multi-room facility with dozens of Dimlux fixtures, the LMA-12 is the required hardware link between those two systems.
