The GL-LINK-LEVEL is sold separately as a standalone sensor — it functions as both an add-on for existing batch tankLINK installations and a replacement if an existing sensor needs to be swapped out. The batch tankLINK controller is a separate line item.
The GL-LINK-LEVEL is purpose-built for the Growlink batch tankLINK. It outputs a standard 4–20 mA signal, but the automated refill triggering, threshold alerts, data logging, and Growlink OS integration all depend on it being connected to a batch tankLINK controller. It is not designed as a generic replacement for non-Growlink systems.
The batch tankLINK controller accepts inputs for EC, pH, temperature, and tank level simultaneously. The GL-LINK-LEVEL handles the level input; separate probes (sold individually) cover EC, pH, and temperature. Together, these four inputs give you complete real-time oversight of nutrient solution quality and volume.
Once the level sensor is calibrated through the batch tankLINK's on-screen menu, you set a low-level threshold. When the measured tank level drops to that set point, the batch tankLINK triggers the configured fill output — typically a fill valve or pump — to restore volume. High and low alarms can also be set to push notifications through the Growlink app independently of the automated refill action.
Both. The batch tankLINK displays live readings and graphical history on its built-in LCD. When connected to a Growlink HUB or via Wi-Fi, all sensor data — including tank level trends — surfaces in Growlink OS and is accessible through the Growlink app on any phone or tablet.
