What the SX721 Is

The Apera SX721 is a portable, dual-parameter water quality meter capable of measuring pH, ORP (oxidation-reduction potential), and temperature in a single handheld unit. It sits in Apera's SX700 professional field series — designed to deliver bench-quality readings outside the lab, without the fragility or limitations of a pen-style tester.

The kit includes two electrodes: the 201T-S pH/temperature electrode, built with a lithium glass membrane and fiber ceramic junction for fast response and stable readings, and the 301Pt-S ORP electrode, which uses a high-quality platinum sensor for accurate redox potential determination. Both electrodes connect to the same meter body, and the unit's automatic electrode recognition switches parameter modes accordingly — no manual mode selection required.

The meter ships complete in a rugged carrying case with both electrodes, calibration buffers, and supporting accessories. Everything needed for field testing on day one is in the case.
