The Apera SX723 handles six discrete water quality parameters from a single handheld unit: pH (–2.00 to 19.99), millivolts (–1999 to +1999 mV), electrical conductivity (0.00 µS/cm to 199.9 mS/cm), TDS (0–100 g/L), salinity (0–100 ppt), and resistivity (0–100 MΩ·cm) — plus automatic temperature compensation throughout. The meter identifies which electrode is connected and switches parameter modes automatically, so there's no manual mode-toggling between pH and conductivity checks.
pH accuracy at the electrometer is ±0.01 pH with 0.01 resolution. Conductivity accuracy is ±1.0% FS at the electrometer across the full 200,000 µS/cm range — a range wide enough to cover RO/DI source water through concentrated nutrient solutions without swapping probes or rescaling. Temperature compensation for conductivity is automatic from 0 to 50°C.
The SX723 carries an IP57 water-resistance rating, meaning it can be fully submerged up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. Conductivity calibration is 1-point automatic, recognizing up to 8 standard conductivity solutions.
