What the Lifter Controller Does

The Flexstar Lifter Controller is the brain of the Flexstar Smart Light Lifter system. Where the lifter itself provides the mechanical lift hardware — motors, cables, and mounting — the controller is where your height logic lives. You program height presets corresponding to your growth stages: seedling distance, veg cruising height, and your late-flower close-approach position. Once set, the controller drives the motors to each position on command, moving your fixture without anyone climbing a ladder or guessing at tape-measure increments.

This matters most in high-canopy situations — multi-tier vertical rooms, tall single-canopy flower rooms, or any setup where manually re-hanging fixtures mid-cycle eats labor hours. The controller eliminates that variable. The fixture moves; the preset holds; the distance is repeatable cycle after cycle.

This controller is purpose-built for licensed cultivation operators running Flexstar Smart Light Lifters.
