The Faven 9-foot Jumper Cord is an interconnect cable purpose-built for Faven's under canopy LED bar system. It links two fixture endpoints that sit too far apart to connect directly — most commonly the tail end of one bench row to the head of an adjacent row. The result is a single continuous daisy chain powered by one power cord, rather than running a separate cord to each row.
Each bench in a Faven installation requires at least one power cord to initiate the chain. The jumper cord extends that chain across the bench geometry. On a standard two-row bench at 240V, for example, one 240V power cord and one jumper cord covers all fixtures. Larger configurations — three or more rows, or builds exceeding the per-voltage maximum fixture count — will require additional power cords and jumper cords sized to the layout.
Faven offers jumper cords in three lengths: 3 feet, 9 feet, and 20 feet. The right length depends on the physical gap between the last fixture in one row and the first fixture in the next row on a given bench. The 9-foot cord covers the gap typical of 4×8 or similarly dimensioned benches where adjacent rows are separated by a meaningful aisle or fixture offset — situations where a 3-foot cord falls short but a 20-foot cord would create unnecessary cable slack.
Matching cord length to actual bench geometry matters in a live grow room. Excess slack at floor level or across bench frames creates snagging hazards, particularly in facilities with active irrigation and frequent foot traffic. Size to the real measurement, not the nearest rounding.
This jumper cord is engineered exclusively for Faven under canopy fixtures — R6, R8, and Chroma series. It is not cross-compatible with other brands or fixture lines. Daisy-chain capacity in a Faven system is determined by operating voltage. At 120V, the system supports up to 10 fixtures per circuit. At 240V — the configuration most commercial facilities run — the limit is 17 fixtures per circuit. At 277V, up to 20 fixtures can run per circuit. Stay within those per-voltage maximums when planning how many jumper cords and power cords you need per bench. Layouts that exceed the fixture maximum for a given voltage require an additional power cord rather than simply adding more jumper cords.
Jumper cords are sold separately from Faven fixtures and power cords. When ordering for a multi-bench facility, map each bench individually: count the rows, identify the gap between row endpoints, and select the jumper cord length that covers that gap cleanly. A 4×8 bench running two rows at 240V typically needs one 9-foot jumper to connect the two rows; a three-row bench at 240V at 24 total fixtures needs two power cords and one jumper per bench.
For large commercial builds — multi-tier vertical grows, long-run rolling bench configurations, or facilities with dozens of benches — submit a full lighting layout so the correct combination of fixture counts, power cords, and jumper cord lengths can be confirmed before the order ships. Getting cable quantities right at the planning stage avoids field modifications during installation.
