What It Is

The Faven 240V Power Cord 1.0 (SKU 10-010704-327) is the OEM feed cord for Faven's R Series under-canopy LED bars. It connects directly from your 240V circuit to the first fixture in a daisy-chain run, delivering mains power and establishing the communication line used for intensity control. At 10 feet (3 meters), it provides practical reach from a standard commercial lighting circuit to the entry point of a bench-mounted run.

This cord is voltage-specific: the 240V version is matched for commercial facilities running 240V lighting circuits, which represents the most common configuration in licensed cultivation facilities. Ordering the wrong voltage cord for your panel creates wiring headaches at best and code violations at worst — this part solves that for existing Faven R Series installs already spec'd at 240V.

Compatible Systems & Daisy-Chain Logic

This cord is designed exclusively for the Faven R Series: the R6 (HPS/HID-room spectrum, full-spectrum diode blend) and R8 (LED-room and mixed-light spectrum, deeper red bias). It is not compatible with the Faven Chroma line. One power cord is required per daisy-chain run. At 240V, a single power cord can support up to approximately 17 fixtures in a daisy chain before requiring a second feed point.

For larger bench configurations that exceed the single-chain maximum, the pattern is straightforward: add a second power cord and use extension/jumper cables to bridge fixture-to-fixture gaps within each chain. Example: a 240V bench with 8 fixtures per row across 3 rows (24 total) requires two 240V power cords plus extension cords to complete the runs. Plan your power cord count against your total fixture count per bench before finalizing your order quantity.

The integrated accessory dimming wire in the cord connects via RJ jack to the Faven Mini Controller or any compatible 0-10V dimming platform — including Trolmaster, Growlink, GrowFlux, Thrive, Argus, and Agritek DXV4 among others. Faven fixtures dim down to approximately 35–40% of maximum intensity via this interface.

Why This Part Matters on an Existing Install

In a commercial under-canopy lighting installation, the power cord is the one component that most frequently needs replacement or supplementation as a facility scales or as cords sustain damage in a wet, high-traffic grow environment. Losing a single feed cord takes an entire daisy-chain run dark — a problem mid-cycle that carries real yield consequences.

Faven's R Series uses IP66-rated waterproof connectors throughout the fixture system, and the power cord is the entry point into that sealed ecosystem.
