128 sq ft of recirculating sub-irrigation canopy in a single rolling bench run.
Anping Hongyu's 32' × 4' ebb and flow rolling bench delivers a full 128-square-foot flood table in a single continuous run — hot-dip galvanized steel frame, ABS flood tray, and a rolling carriage that consolidates aisles into a single floating walkway. Built for licensed commercial cultivation: cannabis veg, flower, propagation, and greenhouse crop production.
The Anping Hongyu 32' × 4' ebb and flow rolling bench is a commercial-scale sub-irrigation bench system combining a continuous ABS plastic flood tray with a hot-dip galvanized steel support structure and aluminum alloy side rails. The tray sits level on a rolling carriage mounted on galvanized roller tubes, allowing the entire bench to slide laterally so operators can eliminate fixed aisles — one floating aisle serves the entire row.
Sub-irrigation (ebb and flow) means nutrient solution floods the tray from below, rises to root level, then drains back to the reservoir for recirculation. Foliage never gets wet. Floors stay dry. The 32-foot continuous run minimizes the number of plumb points and reservoir connections required compared to stringing multiple short tables end to end, simplifying your system design and reducing leak points.
This bench is sized and built for licensed cannabis and hemp cultivation facilities — indoor grow rooms, warehouse conversions, and controlled-environment greenhouses — where canopy density and irrigation consistency are non-negotiable. At 4 feet wide, the bench is accessible from either side without stepping onto the tray surface, which is the standard working width for single-operator cultivation workflows.
The 32-foot length suits facilities that run long room bays and want to minimize bench segments per row. Propagation rooms, veg rooms, and flower rooms all benefit from the same platform: recirculating sub-irrigation keeps water usage tight, uniform saturation eliminates dry pockets at bench edges, and the rolling carriage means you can consolidate walkway space into additional canopy square footage rather than dead aisle.
Frame and structure: hot-dip galvanized steel legs and support pipes provide corrosion resistance in the high-humidity environment of an active grow room. Aluminum alloy side rails run the length of the bench, contain the tray, and serve as the attachment point for optional trellis vertical poles or netting supports. The rolling carriage rides on galvanized roller tubes; an anti-rollover device prevents the bench from tipping when shifted to the end of its travel.
Flood tray: UV-stabilized ABS plastic, approximately 3mm wall thickness, available in gray or white. The tray is impervious — no drainage through the tray surface — and drains via an integrated valve and filter screen at the end of the bench. The closed-loop recirculation design means nutrient runoff is captured and returned to the sump, not lost to drain. The tray surface must be set perfectly level for the flood to distribute evenly; Anping Hongyu's frame design allows for leg-level height adjustment to achieve proper leveling across the full 32-foot run.
In a room designed around 4'-wide rolling benches, the single-floating-aisle layout allows significantly more canopy per square foot of floor space than fixed-bench layouts with dedicated aisles between every row. For facilities building out a new room or retrofitting an existing space, rolling bench runs of this length are designed to be anchored at the leg bases to a concrete slab — floor anchoring is standard practice to prevent tip-over and is required on longer runs.
From an infrastructure standpoint, the 32-foot run requires inlet and drain plumbing at the bench end (one valve/filter assembly per bench), a sump reservoir appropriately sized for the flood volume, and a pump-and-timer irrigation controller. The bench kit includes the ABS flood tray, galvanized steel frame, aluminum side rails, roller carriage, anti-rollover device, and end-valve/filter assembly for drain and inlet. Pump, reservoir, and irrigation controller are separate components. HSC can help coordinate compatible irrigation and environmental control equipment — reach out for a full room quote.
The 32' × 4' is a stocked configuration. Custom lengths and widths are available through Anping Hongyu's production line — different lengths are a standard accommodation for commercial builds. Contact HSC with your room dimensions and we can spec the correct run length and number of bench rows for your layout.
The bench rolls laterally on a fixed set of roller tubes, creating a single floating aisle that can be positioned anywhere along the row. The travel distance depends on the number of bench runs in the row and the spacing of your rail system. This eliminates fixed aisles between each bench, which is how the rolling layout reclaims usable canopy square footage versus a stationary bench layout.
The 4'W format works across all stages — propagation, veg, and flower. For flower at a 4' bench width, plants are accessible from both sides without reaching over the tray center. The closed recirculating irrigation keeps foliage and floors dry, which is especially relevant in flower rooms where canopy humidity management and contamination control are critical compliance considerations.
