What the AS-1 Is

The AS-1 is TrolMaster's entry-level audio/visual alarm station for the Carbon-X multi-zone CO2 safety system. The kit bundles the DSD-1 dry contact station and the AS-5 audible-visual alarm module with the cable set required for connection to the Carbon-X controller (CDA-1). The unit is rated for universal input voltage (100–240 VAC), so it installs cleanly in any commercial facility without voltage conversion.

When CO2 concentration in the monitored space climbs above the configured high-level threshold — or drops below the configured low-level threshold — the AS-1 triggers both an audible tone and a visible strobe/light, immediately alerting anyone in or near the room. The dry contact output (rated 30 VDC / 250 VAC, 6 A) can also be wired into a facility fire alarm panel, enabling full integration with a building's existing life-safety infrastructure.

The AS-1 is designed to operate as part of the TrolMaster Carbon-X system.
