It is not the right tool for nutrient-loaded reservoir water, concentrated solutions, or high-salinity matrices — Apera makes other PH700 variants for those applications.
The PH700 meter uses standard BNC (pH) and RCA (temperature) connectors. Other BNC-compatible electrodes can be connected, but Apera notes that temperature readings may be incompatible with non-Apera probes. For pure-water measurement accuracy, the LabSen 803 is the specified electrode and replacement.
