This is not a general-purpose meter with a high-temp upsell. The LabSen 865 uses a PHY glass membrane — the most chemically robust membrane in the LabSen series — and a PTFE junction specifically chosen because it resists clogging from complex or caustic chemical matrices. The meter reads 0–14.00 pH at ±0.01 accuracy with 0.01 pH resolution, and the electrode's built-in 30KΩ NTC thermistor feeds automatic temperature compensation throughout the measurement range.
Most cultivation pH checks happen at ambient temperatures on straightforward water solutions — and a standard benchtop meter handles that fine.
