What It Is

The Apera PH700-WW (SKU: AI5012) is a dedicated benchtop pH meter for sample matrices that destroy standard electrodes. Turbid water, particulate-laden runoff, nutrient slurries, organic emulsions, and wastewater effluent all share one problem: they clog the ceramic or fiber junctions found on conventional pH probes, fouling the reference system and producing drift. The PH700-WW solves this at the electrode level.

The included Swiss LabSen 333 3-in-1 pH/Temp electrode uses an open-junction, polymer solid-electrolyte design with a POM (polyoxymethylene) body that is highly resistant to corrosion. The polymer electrolyte ensures full contact with the test sample while eliminating junction clogs — and unlike standard gel or liquid-filled references, it requires no electrolyte refill. The long-life reference system is composed of a glass tube, AgCl, and a reference silver wire with a cotton-stuffed tip to stabilize the AgCl/electrolyte interface as temperature changes, extending service life. The hemispherical LabSen blue glass membrane delivers fast response and strong resistance to mechanical impact.

Is this meter suitable for nutrient solution and fertigation pH checks, or only for wastewater?
