What the Kit Is

The Athena Culture Kit is a portable, table-top tissue culture system built around three hardware pieces: a laminar-flow hood, a purpose-built autoclave, and an integrated toolbox. Everything ships together as a single kit. The flow hood provides a 2.58 cubic-foot clean work zone with active dual-filtered airflow (G3 pre-filter + True HEPA H13) at a face velocity of 0.5–0.9 m/s — well above the industry benchmark of 0.3 m/s. The aluminum housing is solid-construction with a tempered-glass door and built-in LED lighting for full work zone visibility.

The autoclave is purpose-built for tissue culture operations: one-touch operation, 8-liter inner chamber for full-batch sterilization of tools, vessels, and media in a single run. The integrated toolbox holds forceps, scalpel handle, 50 scalpel blades, mixing vessels, six culture vessels, three utility vessels with lids, chemical bottles, a spray bottle, an alcohol burner, and 30 alcohol swabs. Pre-formulated Roots and Shoots media sachets are included — all nutrients and hormones already mixed; just add water.
