Kelp-extract potassium supplement — foliar or drench, weekly through early flower.
Athena Stack (0-0-1) is a liquid kelp-extract plant nutrient built around Ascophyllum nodosum kelp concentrate. Applied as a foliar spray or root drench once weekly — from late veg through the first several weeks of flower — it delivers bioavailable potassium and humic compounds that support canopy health, abiotic stress tolerance, and finish weight alongside the base feed program.
Athena Stack is a liquid supplement derived from premium kelp extract — specifically Ascophyllum nodosum — carrying a guaranteed analysis of 1.0% soluble potash (K2O) and 0.45% humic acid, both derived from kelp. That's the full active ingredient list. There are no synthetic dyes, no added sugars, no microbial inoculants, and no competing ions that would interact with your base EC targets.
The 0-0-1 profile keeps Stack's footprint in your tank extremely small. It slots into any feed program — Athena Pro Line, Athena Blended Line, or a third-party base — without forcing you to rebalance your macro ratios. Because it contains organic material, natural separation can occur in storage; shake thoroughly before every use.
Stack is formulated for commercial cannabis and hemp operators running high-output indoor or greenhouse environments where finishing density and canopy uniformity matter at scale. The 5-gallon format (SKU: LQ-STK-5G) is the commercial working size — meaningful volume for weekly foliar or drench programs across large canopies without the per-application cost of smaller bottles.
It fits equally well in recirculating hydro, coco drip, and run-to-waste systems. It is safe for use in irrigation systems and automated fertigation lines. Operators already running the Athena nutrient platform will find Stack integrates cleanly; it is also compatible in the same spray tank as Athena IPM for combined foliar application passes, reducing labor on spray days.
Apply Stack beginning in the final week of vegetative growth and continue through weeks 4–5 of flowering, or until plants stop growing vertically — whichever comes first. The application window aligns with the transition and early-to-mid flower stretch where potassium demand and stress tolerance are most critical to final structure.
Root drench: mix 1–2 mL per gallon of water, once weekly. Add Stack last to the reservoir after your base nutrients are fully dissolved and mixed. Foliar spray: mix 7 mL per gallon of water and spray canopy thoroughly once weekly; apply with lights off and allow leaves to dry fully before resuming the photoperiod. For transplant root soaks, mix 2 mL per gallon and soak bare roots 30–60 seconds before planting. For seed treatment, mix 4 mL per gallon and soak seed 1–2 minutes before germination. No pH adjustment is necessary for Stack applications.
Stack is intentionally narrow in scope — a single-function supplement with a single active system (kelp-derived potassium and humic acid). For commercial operators, that simplicity translates to predictability: Stack won't introduce variability into dialed-in EC programs, and its low dose rates mean cost-per-square-foot impact is minimal at 1–2 mL/gallon drench rates.
Athena Ag developed the full nutrient platform in active commercial grow rooms in Los Angeles, California, and Stack sits within the broader Blended Line ecosystem alongside base nutrients, CaMg, PK, Cleanse, and Balance. Operators running the complete Athena program use Stack through the transition and early flower phases before stepping into PK for the final push. Growers not on the full Athena program can still integrate Stack as a standalone supplement — its compatibility with any irrigation system and its no-pH-adjustment requirement keep adoption friction low.

Yes. Stack is fully compatible with Athena IPM in the same spray tank, allowing growers to combine a nutrient foliar pass with a pest and pathogen management pass in a single application — a meaningful labor saver on large canopies.
No pH adjustment is necessary for Stack applications, either as a foliar spray or root drench. This simplifies mixing and is particularly useful in automated fertigation setups where pH management is already a variable.
Stack contains organic kelp-derived ingredients that naturally separate during storage. This is expected and does not indicate product degradation. Shake the bottle well before every use to ensure even nutrient distribution in the mix.
Apply Stack from the final week of veg through weeks 4–5 of flower, or once plants stop stretching vertically. Foliar applications specifically should not continue past week 3–5 of flower depending on canopy density and facility protocol — avoid foliar spray on dense, late-stage flower sites to reduce moisture retention risk.
At drench rates of 1–2 mL per gallon of feed water, the 5-gallon format covers significantly more plant-weeks than the 1-gallon before resupply is needed. For commercial operations running weekly Stack applications across multiple cultivation rooms, the 5-gallon (LQ-STK-5G) reduces per-unit cost and resupply frequency.
