Complete 3-part dry-soluble starter kit — Pro Core, Pro Grow & Pro Bloom, ready to mix concentrate.
The Athena Pro Mix Kit (2.5 gal / PRO-MIX-2.5G) gives licensed cultivators everything needed to run the full Pro Line program from day one: three 5 lb pouches of Pro Core, Pro Grow, and Pro Bloom paired with three labeled 2.5-gallon concentrate mixing bottles fitted with dispensing spigots. It's the same concentrate-first workflow commercial operations use — no powder weighing, consistent mineral ratios every batch.
The PRO-MIX-2.5G contains three 5 lb pre-measured pouches — one each of Pro Core (the dual-phase calcium and micronutrient base, NPK 14-0-0), Pro Grow (the vegetative-phase fertilizer, NPK 2-8-20), and Pro Bloom (the flowering-phase fertilizer, NPK 0-12-24) — along with three individually labeled 2.5-gallon mixing bottles. Each bottle carries a fill-line graduation and a twist-off cap fitted with a dispensing spigot, so you pour concentrate cleanly into a dosing vessel or reservoir without transferring containers.
The concentrate procedure is straightforward: fill the bottle halfway with RO or filtered water, pour in the entire pouch, shake until no clumps remain, top off to the 2.5-gallon mark, and shake again for one to two minutes. Each product gets its own dedicated bottle — Core, Grow, and Bloom concentrates are never combined until they hit the feed water.
Weighing dry powders directly into a batch tank introduces batch-to-batch variance. Even small weighing errors shift the calcium-to-nitrogen ratio or the phosphorus-to-potassium ratio enough to show up as subtle deficiencies over a multi-week run. Athena's pre-measured 5 lb pouches eliminate that variable — the entire pouch goes into the matching bottle, and the fill line sets the concentration. Every stock tank pull comes off the same concentrate, so your EC targets are repeatable across rooms, shifts, and operators.
For operations running Dosatron injectors, Netaflex, Rhythm, or gravity-fed stock tanks, the 2.5-gallon bottle with a spigot integrates cleanly. Measure out the dose, inject or pour into the feed line, and move on. There is no residue and no sediment — the mineral-only, fully soluble formulation leaves irrigation drip lines and emitters clear.
Pro Core is the backbone run throughout the entire cycle — veg and flower. It supplies 14% nitrogen, 17% calcium, magnesium, and a micronutrient package (iron DTPA, manganese EDTA, copper EDTA, zinc EDTA, boron, molybdenum) that supports enzyme production, chlorophyll synthesis, and plant structure. Pro Grow pairs with Core during the vegetative phase (typically two to three weeks), delivering a balanced NPK profile with elevated nitrogen for root establishment and canopy development.
At the transition to flower, Pro Grow is swapped for Pro Bloom, which runs for the full flowering phase (typically eight to nine weeks). Pro Bloom supplies phosphorus and potassium alongside sulfur — the sulfur fraction supports terpene and secondary metabolite production without requiring separate PK boosters. The ratio for mixing is documented on Athena's published feed schedule: for every 0.6 g of Pro Core, use 1 g of Pro Grow or Pro Bloom to hit the target EC. The constant-EC feeding model means you dial in an EC and adjust irrigation frequency rather than ramping and tapering nutrient concentration.
The 2.5-gallon kit is sized for licensed cannabis and hemp operations transitioning to the Pro Line program, operators onboarding a new room or facility, or cultivation teams that want to standardize on the concentrate workflow before scaling to bulk 10 lb and 25 lb refill boxes. It works across all substrate types — coco coir, rockwool, perlite-amended media, and hydroponic systems — and is equally suited to drain-to-waste, recirculating, and fertigation setups.
Athena Pro Line was developed in partnership with Jungle Boys and manufactured in-house by Athena Ag (Los Angeles, CA) under ISO 9001 quality management. The formulation is synthetic mineral — no organics, no enzymes, no sugars — which keeps the feed water clean and test-ready. Once you work through the starter pouches, the 10 lb Pro Line refill boxes (sold separately) slot directly into the same mixing workflow with the same bottles.

The 1-gallon kit (PRO-MIX-1G) contains 2 lb pouches and 1-gallon mixing jugs — appropriate for smaller reservoirs or trial runs. The 2.5-gallon kit (PRO-MIX-2.5G) contains 5 lb pouches and 2.5-gallon bottles with spigots, suited to larger reservoirs and higher-volume feeding systems. The concentrate strength per bottle is the same; the 2.5-gallon version simply produces more concentrate per mix session and reduces how frequently you need to mix.
Yes. Pro Core is used throughout the entire cycle alongside either Pro Grow (veg) or Pro Bloom (flower). Core supplies calcium, nitrogen, and the micronutrient package; Grow or Bloom provide the stage-appropriate macronutrient ratios. Running without Core leaves a significant gap in calcium and trace elements. The three components are always mixed separately into stock concentrates and never combined in dry form or as concentrates before reaching the feed water.
Athena's protocol specifies mixing a concentrate first, then dosing from that concentrate into the batch tank or reservoir. Adding dry powder directly to a large batch tank makes it difficult to verify complete dissolution and introduces the same measurement variance the pre-measured pouches are designed to eliminate. The mixing bottles and spigot are built specifically to support the concentrate-first workflow.
Athena sells 10 lb Pro Line refill boxes for each component (Pro Core, Pro Grow, Pro Bloom), packaged as five 2 lb pouches per box, as well as 25 lb bulk options. The refill pouches work with the same 1-gallon mixing jugs; the 2.5-gallon bottles from the PRO-MIX-2.5G kit are reused with the 5 lb pouches available through Athena's refill program.
The Athena Pro Line is a synthetic mineral nutrient program with no organic additives, microbial inoculants, or sugars. Its mineral-only composition means it does not introduce the residual pesticide or heavy metal contamination risks associated with some organic inputs. Operators should verify their specific state's testing panel requirements and confirm any additional additives used alongside Pro Line. Athena publishes low heavy-metal content as a formulation specification for the Pro Line.
