Soluble P-K flower feed built for stock-tank mixing and precision fertigation at scale.
Athena Pro Bloom (0-12-24) is a fully soluble dry fertilizer formulated for the flowering phase — delivering elevated phosphorus and potassium alongside sulfur and microelements, with zero particulates or sediment. Designed to run as a stock concentrate alongside Pro Core, it gives commercial operators exact recipe control and the lowest cost-per-gallon of any Athena format.
Athena Pro Bloom is a water-soluble, dry-salt flowering fertilizer with a 0-12-24 NPK ratio. It delivers the elevated phosphorus and potassium levels that flowering plants require for bulk development and high-metabolic-activity support. The formula also contributes sulfur via potassium sulfate — a deliberate choice over potassium nitrate — alongside magnesium, iron (DTPA-chelated), and additional microelements.
The 25 lb bag is the commercial format. It is designed to be dissolved into a concentrated stock solution first — Athena explicitly discourages adding the dry powder directly to a reservoir — and then dosed into feed water through any standard injection system. At the correct stock concentration, Pro Bloom produces a clean, sediment-free solution that runs through drip, flood-and-drain, or recirculating systems without clogging emitters or building residue.
Pro Bloom is the flower-phase component of the Athena Pro Line — a dry-salt two-part base program built around Pro Core (the micronutrient and calcium-nitrogen backbone) and Pro Bloom (the P-K driver). It is the right fit for licensed cannabis and hemp cultivators running hydroponic, coco, or hybrid substrate systems where recipe precision and cost control are operational priorities.
Facilities already running automated fertigation — Dosatron, Netaflex, Rhythm, or comparable injection setups — will get the most out of the Pro Line format. The stock-concentrate workflow integrates cleanly with any dosing architecture that accepts a liquid feed input, and the dry starting format means bulk purchasing goes further per square foot of canopy than equivalent liquid programs.
The use of potassium sulfate rather than potassium nitrate is a formulation decision with a practical rationale: sulfates support secondary metabolite production, including terpene and cannabinoid synthesis, without adding extra nitrogen load during flower when nitrogen demand is intentionally lower. This keeps the grower in control of the nitrogen fraction through Pro Core ratios rather than baking it into the bloom component.
The large-grind, 100% soluble particle format means no undissolved solids, no emitter blockage, and no sediment accumulation in reservoirs or stock tanks. Pro Bloom mixes fully at room temperature with adequate agitation and carries low heavy metal content. Weighing by mass (not volume) is required for accurate dosing — Athena's feed schedule is based on grams per gallon, not scoops, which is consistent with how a commercial operation should be running nutrient preparation regardless.
Pro Bloom is used from the first day of the flowering phase through late bloom, swapping in where Pro Grow left off. The standard Pro Line ratio calls for 1 gram of Pro Bloom paired with 0.6 grams of Pro Core per dosing unit — that ratio holds the full macro and micro profile complete when the two are combined. Neither product is a standalone complete fertilizer; they are designed as a system.
For stock-tank preparation, Athena's protocol is to add up to 2.5 lb of Pro Bloom per gallon of water, agitate thoroughly until fully dissolved, then use that concentrate as the injection source. Pro Bloom and Pro Core must not be combined in dry or undiluted concentrate form — they must be dissolved separately before mixing into feed water. At the 25 lb scale, operators running multi-light rooms or multi-room facilities will find the bulk format significantly reduces per-gallon input cost compared to smaller retail sizes or liquid equivalents.

No. Pro Bloom is the P-K component of a two-part system. Pro Core supplies the calcium, nitrogen, and micronutrient backbone. Running Pro Bloom alone produces an incomplete nutrient profile — the balanced macro and micro picture only exists when both products are used together at the recommended ratio.
Athena does not recommend it. The correct workflow is to dissolve Pro Bloom into a stock concentrate first (up to 2.5 lb per gallon of water, with thorough agitation), then use that liquid concentrate as the input to your dosing or injection system. Adding dry granules directly to a reservoir makes accurate dosing and consistent mixing difficult.
Potassium sulfate delivers potassium without adding nitrogen during the flower phase — a period when many growers are intentionally tapering nitrogen. The sulfate form also supports secondary metabolite production, which is relevant to terpene and cannabinoid development in cannabis cultivation.
Not when mixed correctly. The Pro Bloom large-grind formula is 100% soluble and leaves no particulates or sediment in solution. It is compatible with drip, recirculating, and flood-and-drain systems and does not require filtration steps beyond standard fertigation practice.
