Athena Blended Grow A is a concentrated liquid mineral fertilizer built for the vegetative growth stage. Its NPK of 4-0-1 reflects a high-nitrogen, low-phosphorus profile that pushes foliage, stalk structure, and root development during veg without front-loading potassium or phosphorus that aren't needed until flower.
Grow A is Part 1 of the Blended Line's vegetative pair. It carries the calcium-side mineral package — Calcium Ammonium Nitrate, Potassium Nitrate, Iron EDTA, Iron EDDHA, Zinc EDTA, Manganese EDTA, Sodium Molybdate, Boric Acid, and Magnesium Nitrate — while Grow B handles the phosphate and sulfate side. Keeping calcium and phosphate in separate bottles prevents precipitation in concentrate form, which is why the two-part format exists. Always mix each part individually into your reservoir water before combining.
The Blended Line is Athena's ready-to-dose liquid option — no weighing, no dry concentrate mixing, no stock-tank prep required beyond shaking the bottle. The formula is media-agnostic. It works in rockwool, coco coir, recirculating DWC, peat-based soilless mix, and soil. It is also system-agnostic — compatible with Dosatron injectors, automated dosing equipment, drip irrigation including fine dripper heads, hand-watering, and flood-and-drain. For operations using RO water or running inert media like coco or rockwool, adding Athena's Blended CaMg as a supplemental part of the program is recommended by Athena for heavy-demand cultivars or growth phases.
The formula is sediment-free and fully soluble, meaning it will not clog emitters, dripper heads, or injection ports. Occasional micro-particles may be visible in certain water conditions but do not affect mineral balance or system compatibility — shaking before use clears this. The liquid format maintains stable pH throughout the vegetative phase, which reduces the frequency of manual adjustment in established feed programs.
Grow A's dose range runs 2–15 mL per gallon, giving meaningful flexibility from early seedling dilutions through aggressive late-veg pushes — the same bottle scales across propagation trays and mature canopy alike.
