Athena Blended Bloom B

55-gallon drum of Athena's liquid bloom base — no dry salts, no measuring errors, built for repeatable flower production.

Athena Blended Bloom B (0.7-6-5) is Part B of the Blended Line's two-part flowering base — a fully liquid, sediment-free concentrate formulated with chelated micronutrients for consistent phosphorus and potassium delivery throughout the entire flower cycle. Available here in the 55-gallon drum (SKU: LQB-BLB-55G) for commercial-scale operations.

What Athena Blended Bloom B Is

Bloom B is the phosphorus-and-potassium-dominant half of Athena's two-part liquid flowering base. Its guaranteed analysis of 0.7-6-5 pairs directly with Bloom A (4-0-5) — the two are always used in equal volumes so that the combined mineral profile stays in the ratio Athena's feeding schedule is built around. Neither part should be used alone, and the two concentrates must not be combined undiluted.

The formula is built around macronutrients and EDTA/EDDHA-chelated micronutrients — specifically monopotassium phosphate, potassium nitrate, copper EDTA, magnesium sulfate, and monoammonium phosphate. Chelation keeps micronutrients soluble and plant-available across a broader pH window than unchelated salts, which matters in hard-water markets and in RO-based systems alike.

The 55-gallon drum format (SKU: LQB-BLB-55G) is sized for facilities running Dosatron injectors, inline dosing panels, or large recirculating reservoirs where gallons-per-week consumption makes smaller packaging impractical.

Who This Is For

Licensed cannabis and hemp cultivation operators running commercial flower rooms — whether in coco, rockwool, DWC, or peat-based media — are the core market for the 55-gallon drum. The Blended Line was designed so that an operator can execute a clean, two-product-per-stage program without weighing dry salts or managing powder hydration. At drum scale, that consistency advantage compounds: every inject cycle draws from the same homogeneous liquid concentrate, so batch-to-batch EC drift from inconsistent dry mixing is eliminated.

The format also suits multi-site operators or management service organizations (MSOs) that want to standardize a single nutrient program across multiple facilities. Athena publishes SOPs for hand-watering, Dosatron, and RDWC configurations — the Blended Line is the same formulation regardless of delivery method, so protocol transfers cleanly between rooms and between sites.

Operators already running Athena Grow A+B in veg switch directly to Bloom A+B at the flip — the programs are sequential, not simultaneous, making transition straightforward and waste-free.

Key Formulation Attributes

Sediment-free: the formula is designed to remain fully in solution. Athena notes that minor micro-particles may occasionally be visible under certain storage conditions but will not affect mineral balance or system compatibility. Shake the drum before use and keep it within the recommended storage temperature range.

Irrigation system compatibility is broad: fine dripper heads, Dosatron injectors, drip loops, hand-watering, and recirculating systems all work without modification. This matters at commercial scale where clogged emitters mean labor, downtime, and uneven canopy feeding.

EC-based dosing: Athena's published feed schedules express Bloom B as a range of 2–7 mL per gallon, adjusted by growth stage within flower and by the plant's EC target. Operators dial the injector ratio rather than reformulating — the liquid concentrate handles the rest. Always dial pH to target after all additives are mixed; do not pre-combine concentrates undiluted.

Shelf life is two years from the manufacturing date when stored in the original sealed container between 45°F and 85°F.

How Bloom B Fits a Full Blended Line Build

Bloom B is one part of a broader Blended Line stack. The complete flowering program pairs Bloom A and Bloom B as the base, with CaMg running as a continuous supplement throughout both veg and flower — particularly useful in RO water or inert media like coco and rockwool where calcium and magnesium need to be fully replaced by the nutrient program. Balance (potassium silicate-based pH buffer) also runs continuously to stabilize fertilizer solution pH in low-alkalinity source water.

PK layers in during the mid-to-late flower phase as a low-nitrogen phosphorus-and-potassium booster for high-demand finishing weeks. Cleanse, a hypochlorous acid-based system maintenance product, enters in the final one to two weeks pre-harvest. Stack is an optional terpene-quality additive. The full eight-product lineup — Grow A, Grow B, Bloom A, Bloom B, CaMg, PK, Balance, Cleanse — is available through HSC, so operators can source the entire program through a single account.

At drum scale, the standard practice is to run Bloom A and Bloom B in dedicated injection channels or separate stock tanks, keeping them diluted in the water stream and never combining the concentrates directly. Athena provides Dosatron panel configuration guides and a hand-watering SOP for facilities that haven't yet automated their feeding.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need both Bloom A and Bloom B, or can I run Bloom B on its own?

Both parts are required. Bloom A (4-0-5) and Bloom B (0.7-6-5) are formulated as a matched pair — they must be used in equal volumes to deliver the correct combined mineral ratios. Running either part alone will leave significant elemental gaps. Never combine the two concentrates directly; dilute each into your water supply separately before mixing.

Is Bloom B compatible with my existing Dosatron or inline injection setup?

Yes. The formula is sediment-free and designed specifically for dosing systems including fine dripper heads. Athena publishes Dosatron panel configuration guides for the Blended Line. The liquid concentrate draws cleanly through standard Dosatron injectors without modification.

What other Athena Blended Line products do I need to run a complete flowering program?

At minimum: Bloom A and Bloom B as your two-part base. For complete nutrition, Athena's program also includes CaMg (continuous calcium, magnesium, iron, and nitrogen supplement — especially important in RO water or inert media like coco and rockwool), Balance (potassium silicate pH buffer, used continuously), PK (phosphorus/potassium booster for mid-to-late flower), and Cleanse (system maintenance, final 1–2 weeks pre-harvest). Stack is an optional additive. HSC carries the full lineup.

What media types is Athena Blended Bloom B compatible with?

Bloom B works across all common commercial substrates: coco coir, rockwool, DWC/RDWC, peat/soilless, and soil. The chelated micronutrient package is designed to maintain bioavailability across a wider pH range than unchelated mineral salts, which broadens compatibility across water types and media.

Can I order just Bloom B or do I need to purchase the full Blended Line program?

Bloom B is available as a standalone item — SKU LQB-BLB-55G. HSC also supplies the complete Blended Line product set (Grow A, Grow B, Bloom A, Bloom B, CaMg, PK, Balance, Cleanse) so you can consolidate sourcing through a single account. Request a quote and let us know which products you need.
