The 277V cord exists because 277VAC is the phase-to-neutral voltage in commercial facilities powered by a 480Y/277V distribution transformer. That's the standard electrical infrastructure in most purpose-built cannabis cultivation buildings, warehouses converted for licensed production, and large greenhouse operations with commercial-grade electrical service. If your panels are fed by a 480Y/277V transformer and your circuits are labeled 277V, this is the cord your UCL fixtures need. Using a cord rated for a different voltage tier on a 277V circuit is a code and safety issue — not just a compatibility inconvenience.
