The DMC-1 is purpose-built for the TrolMaster Green-X GCS-1 ecosystem and communicates via RS-485 through the GCS-1. It is not designed as a standalone controller — a GCS-1 base station is required to configure and automate motor operation. Manual operation at the unit itself is also supported for basic open/close commands.
