Commercial RO water that starts every nutrient batch at zero.

ANGEL agriculture RO systems remove dissolved solids and contaminants from city or well water, so the EC you mix is the EC the plants get. Each system is a stainless steel skid that arrives pre-plumbed, pre-wired and factory-tested, with carbon pretreatment, antiscalant injection and Siemens touchscreen controls. Four sizes produce 5,000 to 20,000 gallons a day.

The Systems

Four sizes, one platform.

Every model has the same pretreatment and Siemens automation. The ROS5 and ROS10 share a pump, and so do the ROS15 and ROS20; within each pair, the larger model runs a bigger membrane array.

What's On The Skid

Pretreatment, pump and controls, already plumbed.

RO membranes fail early when chlorine, scale or sediment reach them. ANGEL puts the protection on the same frame as the membranes, so the system arrives ready to connect.

Dual GAC media tanks

Pre-filled carbon removes chlorine and chloramine before they reach the membranes. Automatic backwash and rinse keep them working without hands-on maintenance.

Antiscalant injection

Doses antiscalant into the feed water to control hardness and scale, without a salt softener. The kit is included.

Sediment & security filter

A sediment tank and a 5 µm security filter are the last barrier before the RO stage.

VFD multistage pump

Holds steady membrane pressure and runs quieter and more efficiently than a fixed-speed pump.

Oxidation injection port

A dedicated port for adding oxidation on well water, used together with greensand media.

Siemens 9" touchscreen

Shows permeate TDS with an alarm, system status and run time. Handles low-pressure shutdown and auto-restart, tank-level floats and permeate flush.

City & Well Water

Set up for the water you actually have.

On city water, the dual carbon tanks take out chlorine and chloramine. On well water, the first tank can be filled with greensand for iron, manganese and sulfur, with oxidation added through the dedicated injection port.

  • Feed water up to 1,000 ppm TDS
  • Inlet pressure 15–58 psi; operating pressure 115–175 psi
  • Feed water 41–113°F
  • Optional UV sterilization on the product water

ANGEL RO-4040 reverse osmosis membrane element
Replacement Parts

ANGEL RO-4040 ultra-low-pressure membrane

The standard 4" × 40" element. ANGEL rates it for full output at lower feed pressure than a standard low-pressure element, with up to 30% lower energy use. It fits any housing built for standard 4040 membranes.

  • Model LX-381RO4040
  • 99.5% stable salt rejection
  • 2,600 GPD (9.8 m³/day) permeate flow per element
  • 100 ft² active area; 28-mil wide feed spacer to reduce fouling
  • Operates at 150 psi; for feed water under 2,000 ppm

Also stocked: 5 micron sediment filter cartridges in 2" × 30" (5M2x30) and 2" × 20" (5M2x20).

Questions

Common questions

Why use RO water for nutrient mixing?

Source water carries its own minerals, and those change with the season and the well. Reverse osmosis strips most of them out so every batch starts near zero and the EC you mix is the EC you get. It also removes the minerals that build up in drippers and lines.

Will it work on well water?

Yes. ANGEL builds the skids for city and well water. For iron, manganese or sulfur, the first GAC tank can be swapped for greensand, and the oxidation injection port is used with it. Send us a water test and we'll confirm the pretreatment.

Which size do I need?

Start with your peak daily water use, including the volume you mix for the reservoir and for irrigation, and allow headroom. Output depends on feed water temperature and quality. We size from your water test and daily use.

What power does it need?

Three-phase 240V, 60 Hz on every model. Pumps run 5 to 6.8 HP depending on size.

How much water goes to drain?

ANGEL rates the systems at up to a 5:1 production-to-waste ratio, or 85%+ recovery, so roughly one gallon of concentrate for every five gallons of RO water. The actual ratio depends on feed water chemistry.
