How many tiers can I run? It depends on ceiling height, fixture profile, and your ability to deliver light, air, and labor access to each tier. Two and three tiers are common; more requires serious automation and design.
Does vertical hurt quality? Not when climate is uniform. Quality problems in vertical almost always trace to airflow and light delivery on a specific tier, not the concept itself.
